PrEP-it — launched in 2019 as a Microsoft Excel-based tool for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) programs and then as a more user-friendly online tool in 2021 — had been used in only a handful of countries prior to August 2022 to set targets for PrEP coverage and forecast commodity needs. Maximizing Options to Advance Informed Choice for HIV Prevention (MOSAIC) is a five-year (2021-2026) global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This blog platform, officially launched in January 2022, will feature curated content from the MOSAIC project, as well as relevant content from others working to expand access to a multi-product HIV prevention market.
